We have another family funeral to attend so I am really glad I made up a bunch of sympathy cards. The colors don't look great here in the picture but better in real life- Wild Wasabi & So Saffron.

This was a really quick & simple card I pretty much cased from another demonstrator.

So in the last week I have needed several Sympathy cards so that is what I will be sharing in the next posts. This card was mostly cased from another demonstrator. Isn't it wonderful you don't always have to come up with your own cards specially at times like this? I would think you could change the words up & this could then be a Get Well card, Birthday card, etc.

This is the magnet from Kendall's birthday party. I used some scraps of retired Designer Series Paper for the girls to make the little outfits. Cute, isn't it!
So I was asked to do my first Birthday Party for sweet Kendall. Cathy & Kendall came over one night & made the little favors for all the girls. She was such a joy.
At her birthday party the girls got to cut an outfit for a Build a Bear magnet using the Big Shot, Build a Bear Bigz Die & Beary Essentials Bigz Die. They also colored Basic Rhinestones & placed them on a washer necklace. They didn't have much time & they were 5 years old so we tried to keep it simple for them.
I met Kendall for the first time when she came with her mom to help make the favors one night the week before her birthday. Imagine how I felt when I showed up at her birthday party & she ran up to me to give me a big hug. Sure made my day!
I will show you the magnet in the next post as I am having problems with putting 2 photos in the same post. Once I get a picture of the washer necklace I will show you that also.

So I found this technique on a fellow Stampin Up demonstrator's blog. I changed up the card a bit but used the same stamp set called Lovely as a Tree.
This is another very manly technique. I could see this being used for a Fathers Day card, masculine birthday card or how about a military person card?
Shelli Gardner, CEO & Co-Founder of Stampin Up brought this set up at Leadership stating we
demonstrators use it too much & sell too many to let them retire it. We were all very happy to hear it was not being retired.

So yesterday I was working on next months Technique Club projects. I found a card similar to this done by another demonstrator but changed it up a bit & used a stamp set called Creative Elements. Wouldn't this be cute for a graduation card or even a birthday card?
I would have put a bigger bill in the pocket but didn't have any in my purse but you get the idea.

So my 4 year old Great Niece Leah came to visit to Great Grandma's yesterday & wanted to make a card as she just found out her mommy is expecting & she will have be having a brother or sister. She choose to make a blue card using a retired Stampin Up stamp set called "I'm Here". She also used Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon & the Modern Label Punch. I did tie the ribbon for her but she did the rest & even wrote Leah, mommy, daddy & baby inside the card. Good job Leah!
Tomorrow is minor foot surgery day. Say a little prayer for me if you think of it. Thanks, Michele

Isn't this a neat Masculine card? It uses the Zoo Review stamp set from page 105 of our current Idea Book & Catalog. They used the Mother of Pearl Technique with just a touch of More Mustard sponged on it which helps it look more interesting. Also used is the Big Shot, Houndstooth Textured Impressions embossing folder & narrow Basic Black Grosgrain ribbon.
